Two classic French wines that will impress pretty much everybody.
Pouilly-Fuissé, Chateau de Chaintré, Burgundy
Chateau de Chaintré is owned by the renowned Pacquet family and run according to organic principles. This is a great example of an elegant white Burgundy with some stone fruit flavours, some richness but with a lovely fresh, mineral finish. Very classy.
A perfect wine for the turkey.
Château Larose Perganson, Bordeaux
This fantastic Bordeaux Chateau is located on the border of Pauillac and St. Julien and neighbours Chateau Latour. The vineyards are tended with great care and the Chateau is renowned for it’s commitment to sustainability.
A Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend with a touch of Petit Verdot, this has all the classic blackcurrant and spice flavours you could ask for and obviously it’s perfect with roast beef!
